Matt Lottich scored 26 points to lead the Oita HeatDevils to an 85-62 home win over the Akita Northern Happinets on Tuesday in the bj-league.
The HeatDevils (11-14) had 32 fourth-quarter points while holding the visitors to 13.
Oita's Taj Finger poured in 18 points and Rolando Howell had 13 boards, while Kohei Mitomo had six assists.
Lottich made 11 of 20 shots from the field.
For Akita (8-15), Sek Henry scored 15, Paul Butorac had 12 points and 13 rebounds and Antonio Burks scored 10. Dokun Akingbade added nine points and matched a season high with 19 boards.
It was the first-ever regular-season contest between the teams.
