Balanced scoring carried the Rizing Fukuoka to a 98-95 win over the visiting Osaka Evessa on Thursday night in the bj-league.
Rizing forward Michael Parker had 23 points and eight rebounds, Nile Murry scored 20 and Akitomo Takeno poured in 16 as the hosts improved to 10-5 despite shooting 16-for-27 at the free-throw line. Fukuoka guard Jun Nakanishi chipped in with 13 points and eight assists and Thiago Cordeiro finished with 12 points.
The Rizing committed eight turnovers, while the Evessa (10-5) had 19.
Lynn Washington scored a season-high 41 points for Osaka and pulled down 11 boards. Wayne Marshall added 16 points and Masashi Obuchi and Billy Knight scored 10.
