The Osaka Evessa outlasted the Rizing Fukuoka in overtime on Friday, winning 110-108 and earning a series split.
The Evessa (11-5) held a 10-point lead entering the fourth quarter in the bj-league contest, but the Rizing rallied back and forced overtime on Nile Murry's 3-pointer with 1 second left in regulation. Murry finished withe 27 points, second on the team to Michael Parker, who had a 38-point, 14-rebound effort.
Thiago Cordeiro scored 13 points and Akitomo Takeno had eight assists for Fukuoka (10-6).
Billy Knight paced the Evessa with 30 points and 16 boards and Lynn Washington added 24 points and 11 rebounds, while Wayne Marshall scored 17 and Masashi Obuchi dished out eight assists.
