Masahiko Morino broke a scoreless tie with a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning as the Chunichi Dragons edged the Yokohama BayStars 1-0 on Friday night.
With their eighth win in 10 games — coupled with Hanshin's loss to Yakult — the Dragons grabbed the Central League lead for the first time since April 15.
Morino's sac fly came with one out and runners on second and third at Nagoya Dome.
