Shohei Tateyama pitched a four-hit shutout as the Tokyo Yakult Swallows won their third straight game against the Chunichi Dragons, 3-0 on Friday night in the Central League.

Tateyama (7-5) struck out six and didn't walk a single batter over the nine frames, taking his ERA down to 3.66. Norichika Aoki hit his 10th homer of the season in the top of the fifth for the Swallows.

BayStars 4, Carp 3

At Hiroshima's Mazda Stadium, backup catcher Toshiki Kurobane's two-RBI single in the top of the seventh inning won it for Yokohama as the BayStars stopped their losing streak at three.

The Carp lost their third in a row as reliever Takayuki Oshima (1-2) took the loss.

Fighters 5, Lions 4 (10)

At Sapporo Dome, Takayuki Takaguchi's first career walkoff hit in the 10th capped a dramatic late comeback for Hokkaido Nippon Ham against Seibu.

The Fighters tied it at four with two outs in the bottom of the ninth as Yuji Iiyama hit his first career home run off PL saves leader Brian Sikorski with two men on.

Hawks 5, Eagles 2

At Kleenex Stadium, Hiroki Kokubo put Fukuoka Softbank in the clear with a three-run blast in the third against Tohoku Rakuten.

Kokubo homered off Darrell Rasner (4-8) to send the Eagles to their fifth loss in six games. Hiroki Yamada (4-3) pitched six solid innings for the victory.

Marines 3, Buffaloes 1

At Chiba Marine Stadium, Yoshihisa Naruse (10-10) held Orix to one earned run over seven-plus innings as Chiba Lotte won its second in a row.
