Kenji Johjima went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBIs, leading the Hanshin Tigers to a 10-6 win over the Hiroshima Carp on Thursday.
The win, coupled with a loss by the Yomiuri Giants, lifted the Tigers into first place in the Central League while ending their five-game losing streak.
Johjima hit a solo home run in the second inning and a go-ahead three-run blast in a seven-run sixth inning that gave Hanshin an 8-3 lead at Mazda Stadium.
