Yasushi Iihara homered twice and drove in five runs on Wednesday, including a go-ahead homer in the fourth inning, as the Tokyo Yakult Swallows beat the Yomiuri Giants 7-5 to win their eighth consecutive game.

Iihara had a two-run blast to get things rolling in the first inning and whacked another that a broke a 5-5 tie with two outs in the fourth at Jingu Stadium. The Swallows are on their longest winning streak in seven years.

Iihara also had an RBI grounder and Kazuhiro Hatakeyama and Hiroyasu Tanaka also drove in runs.
