Every once in a while, though, along comes a Japanese ballplayer who dares to be a little non-conformist. Maybe he has some unusual physical characteristics, facial features or mannerisms, or his demeanor is somewhat loud and he's outspoken, but there is something to draw attention.
One such individual would appear to be Fukuoka Softbank Hawks catcher Kentaro Inomoto, a 19-year-old native of Kumamoto Prefecture in Kyushu, and I am basing this evaluation on a single news sound bite which lasted about 15 seconds.
