Both the Central and Pacific Leagues are scheduled to begin their 2011 seasons on March 25, according to the Nippon Professional Baseball executive committee.

Each team will play 144 games, including 24 interleague contests.

Game 1 of the All-Star series will be held at Nagoya Dome on July 22 and Game 2 at Chiba Marine Stadium the following day.

The Japan Series is scheduled to begin on Oct. 29 at the PL playoff winner's home stadium.
