Japan Football Association technical director Hiromi Hara is currently traveling overseas as part of the selection process for the country's coach, new JFA President Junji Ogura said Monday.

While declining to give Hara's destination, Ogura said, "He is meeting a lot of people and narrowing down our choices. The selection process has gone well."

Takeshi Okada, who guided Japan to the second round of the World Cup finals in South Africa, was named to the JFA Executive Committee on Sunday.

Japan's next match is scheduled for Sept. 4, a friendly against a team yet to be named.
