Yasutomo Kubo threw his second complete game of the season and Takashi Toritani and Kenji Johjima drove in five runs between them with a pair of homers as the Hanshin Tigers walloped the Tokyo Yakult Swallows 9-3 on Wednesday.
Kubo (3-2) did not allow a hit until yielding a two-out single to Hiroyasu Tanaka in the sixth inning. He gave up six hits, struck out five and walked one.
Toritani hit a two-run blast to key a three-run first against Masanori Ishikawa (0-5) and Johjima made it 6-0 in the top of the seventh with his deep drive to left.
