Alex Ramirez hit a three-run homer and Shugo Fujii finally got a win with his new team Tuesday as the Yomiuri Giants routed the Chunichi Dragons 8-0 to extend their winning streak to six games.
Yomiuri jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning at Nagoya Dome as Ryota Wakiya followed a leadoff triple by Hayato Sakamoto with a single and rookie Hisayoshi Chono singled in two runs.
Ramirez's ninth home run of the season made it 6-0 and Shinnosuke Abe followed with a shot of his own in the fifth. Lee Seung Yeop added a pinch-hit solo home run in the eighth.
