Michihiro Ogasawara and Yoshinobu Takahashi each hit two-run home runs and pitcher Wirfin Obispo helped his own cause with a blast of his own as the Yomiuri Giants routed the Hiroshima Carp 8-2 to win their fifth in a row on Sunday.

Ogasawara went deep in the first inning before a Tetsuya Kokubo two-run double tied it in the second at Tokyo Dome. Alex Ramirez drove in the tiebreaking run with a single in the third.

Obispo hit a solo shot for his first homer in Japan in the fourth and RBI doubles by Ramirez and Yoshiyuki Kamei made it 6-2 in the next frame. Takahashi hit his first home run since Sept. 23, 2008 in the seventh.
