Tony Blanco had two big hits and Kazuki Yoshimi pitched seven effective innings as the Chunichi Dragons beat the Yakult Swallows 3-1 Thursday.
Blanco hit a tying double and scored the go-ahead run on a passed ball by catcher Ryoji Aikawa in the fourth inning. The 2009 CL home run and RBI leader added a solo homer in the eighth at Nagoya Dome.
Yoshimi (3-1) won his third straight start, allowing one run and seven hits. Hitoki Iwase picked up his eighth save.
Tony Barnette (2-1) was charged with two runs and four hits in six innings. Yasushi Iihara hit a solo homer in the fourth and Hiroyasu Tanaka had three hits for Yakult.
