Julius Ashby and Rasheed Sparks scored 26 points apiece to guide the Tokyo Apache to a 96-84 win over the Saitama Broncos on Friday at Sumida City Gymnasium.
The Broncos (13-32) dropped their 11th straight bj-league game, the longest current losing streak in the league.
Tokyo improved to 19-26, getting 15 points from Michael Chappell and 10 from Jerrell Smith. Jumpei Nakama and Reina Itakura added six points apiece. Ashby grabbed 16 rebounds.
The Apache led comfortably throughout the second half and took a 79-57 lead into the final quarter.
Saitama's Mario Jointer, who returned to the lineup after missing four games with an injury, had a team-best 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Teammate Terrence Woodyard scored 15, while Kirby Lemons and Kwbana Beckles had 10 apiece.
