Craig Brazell hit a tiebreaking two-run single in the eighth inning and Yasumoto Kubo threw seven solid innings Wednesday as the Hanshin Tigers beat the Yomiuri Giants 3-2 for their fourth straight victory.
Brazell singled to right off Tetsuya Yamaguchi (1-1) to put Hanshin ahead 3-1 after a pair of singles and a hit batter loaded the bases with one out at Tokyo Dome.
Yomiuri got one back in the bottom of the eighth on Lee Seung Yeop's first home run since July 4, 2009.
