CHICAGO (AP) Chicago Cubs owner Tom Ricketts isn't opposed to putting up a Toyota sign at Wrigley Field.
The team has been working on a sponsorship deal with the troubled automaker that would place a sign over the left field bleachers. It would have to be approved by a Chicago zoning commission and a landmarks committee.
Ricketts says ownership is fully respectful of the traditions of Wrigley Field. He says the sign would not interfere with the experience of fans or block the view of neighboring rooftops.
