South Korean slugger Kim Tae Kyun went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and Tsuyoshi Nishioka homered in the Chiba Lotte Marines' 9-3 win over the Saitama Seibu Lions in a spring training game on Friday.

Former Hanwha Eagles star Kim hit a two-run double and Nishioka added a three-run homer as Lotte pounded out double-digit hits for the fourth straight game. Hidetaka Kawagoe, an offseason acquisition from Orix, allowed one hit in four scoreless innings.

Veteran Seibu starter Fumiya Nishiguchi got roughed up for six runs in three innings. Yoshihito Ishii drove in two runs with a triple at Chiba Marine Stadium.

Swallows 2, Hawks 1

At Tokyo's Jingu Stadium, Masanori Ishikawa, Yakult's potential Opening Day starter, pitched seven shutout innings in a victory over Fukuoka Softbank.

Ishikawa, a left-hander, has not allowed a run or a walk in three spring outings.

For the Hawks, Tsuyoshi Wada limited the damage to two runs in six innings. Nobuhiko Matsunaka had his first hit of the spring in 11 at-bats.

Giants 3, Buffaloes 3

At Osaka's Kyocera Dome, Shun Tono surrendered a bases-loaded walk but was otherwise solid in five innings for Yomiuri in a win over Orix.

New addition Shugo Fujii threw two perfect innings for the Giants. Michihiro Ogasawara doubled in three runs.

Shogo Akada, acquired in a trade last month from Seibu, went 4-for-5 with pairs of singles and doubles for the Buffaloes.

Carp 7, Tigers 1

At Kobe's Skymark Stadium, Hiroshima left-hander Takahiro Aoki worked four shutout innings and pinch hitter Tomonori Maeda went deep with a three-run homer in a win over Hanshin.

The Tigers' Tatsuya Kojima threw one-run ball over five innings, but rookie Kazuhito Futagami got chased after allowing six runs in two innings.
