The first-place Ryukyu Golden Kings held their own against the Rizing Fukuoka, their top challenger in the Western Conference, in the teams' first game of the season's second half.
Perpetual playmaker Anthony McHenry scored a game-high 26 points and drained 12 of 14 shots from the charity stripe in Ryukyu's 77-71 home win on Saturday.
The Golden Kings (20-9) improved to 2-1 against the Rizing.
