The Aisin SeaHorses rallied to beat the Hitachi Sunrockers 84-73 in the men's final Monday for their third straight national title at the basketball national championships.

Trailing 27-20 after the first quarter, Aisin forced five turnovers in the next quarter to help the team bounce back to a 46-41 halftime lead at Yoyogi National Gymnasium.

Shinsuke Kashiwagi and Josh Gross combined for 21 points in the second half for Aisin, which captured its seventh national title overall. Gross had a game-high 18 points.

Fumio Nishimura hit a 3-pointer in the fourth quarter to pull the Sunrockers within 76-71 but the team never found its rhythm as ace Joji Takeuchi was held to just 10 points.
