Kenichi Takahashi scored 23 points and three teammates scored in double figures in the Sendai 89ers' 82-74 road win over the Rizing Fukuoka on Tuesday in the bj-league.
The 89ers (13-9) earned a series split on a night when power forward Gyno Pomare had 19 points and 19 rebounds, Demetrius Guions scored 18 and reigning rebounding champion Chris Holm collected 14 boards and scored 11 points.
Michael Parker paced the Rizing (16-10) with 23 points, while Richard Ford Jr. scored 14 and Thiago Cordeiro and Marlyn Bryant had eight points apiece.
