NIIGATA (Kyodo) Albirex Niigata on Friday announced the promotion of Hisashi Kurosaki to manager from assistant coach.
Kurosaki, 41, will replace Jun Suzuki after serving as assistant coach for the J. League first-division club since 2007.
During his playing career through 2003, Kurosaki scored 69 goals in 202 first-division matches and netted four times in 24 matches for Japan.
