YOKOHAMA (Kyodo) Substitute Shohei Ogura and Yuzo Kurihara were on target as Yokohama F. Marinos beat Shimizu S-Pulse 2-0 to snap a three-match winless streak in the J. League on Sunday.

Ogura bagged his first goal in the top flight on 76 minutes at Nissan Stadium and Kurihara added a superb late second to give outgoing manager Kokichi Kimura victory in his last home game in charge.

"It wasn't a great performance but I really felt the players' determination to win," said Kimura, who is being let go by Yokohama at the end of the season.

"I won't be in charge next term but I want to end my reign on a winning note. We are away (to Montedio Yamagata) next week but hopefully we can deliver a good performance and win."

In the day's other game, goals from Hiroshi Kiyotake and Fernandinho gave Oita Trinita a 2-0 win at JEF United Chiba. Both teams have already been relegated.
