Chunichi Dragons first baseman Tony Blanco captured the Central League home run and RBI titles as the league wrapped up the regular season on Monday.

Blanco, a former major leaguer with the Washington Nationals in his first year in Japan, hit 39 homers to lead the CL while driving in 110 runs in 144 games.

Yomiuri Giants outfielder Alex Ramirez won the CL batting crown for the first time with a .322 average and also had 186 hits to lead the league for the first time in two seasons.

Yakult Swallows outfielder Kazuki Fukuchi, meanwhile, stole 42 bases to lead the league for the second year running.

In key pitching categories, Chunichi right-hander Kazuki Yoshimi and Swallows right-hander Shohei Tateyama tied for a league-high 16 wins, while Chunichi lefty Chen Wei-yin of Taiwan notched a league-best 1.54 ERA.

Chunichi closer Hitoki Iwase had 41 saves to lead the league while Hiroshima Carp right-hander Colby Lewis registered the most strikeouts for the second consecutive year with 186.
