Mongolian yokozuna Hakuho gave countryman Kyokutenho a hiding on Wednesday to preserve his perfect start to the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament.

Hakuho improved to 4-0 and fellow yokozuna Asashoryu also stayed unbeaten with another clinical win in his first meeting with Shotenro at Ryogoku Kokugikan.

Ozeki Kotomitsuki and Kotooshu prevailed to join the yokozuna in a six-way tie for the lead, but Kaio became the latest victim to fall to ozeki killer Baruto, with Harumafuji also crashing to an upset defeat.
