Baseball fans will get to see an annual amateur draft live in a conference hall from this year.
Nippon Professional Baseball said Thursday it will invite 1,000 fans to this year's draft on Oct. 29.
Baseball sources predict that as many as 11 clubs might name Hanamaki Higashi High School left-hander Yusei Kikuchi in the first round of the draft.
