Ichiro Suzuki went 3-for-4 and stole his 20th base of the season as the Seattle Mariners beat the Cleveland Indians 5-3 on Sunday.

Suzuki had a pair of singles and a double down the right-field line, raising his batting average to a major league high .363. Minnesota Twins catcher Joe Mauer went hitless the same day to see his average slip to .358.

After singling to right in the ninth, Suzuki stole third base off Kerry Wood and came home on Franklin Gutierrez's groundout to score the fifth run.

He also made a leaping grab on the fence off Victor Martinez's fly ball to right with two outs and a runner on first in the ninth, possibly saving the tying run.
