BOSTON (Kyodo) Boston Red Sox pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka will head to Florida on Monday to begin a strengthening program for his right shoulder.
"We're going to really strengthen the shoulder and take advantage of the time while he's down there to work on the whole body," Red Sox manager Terry Francona said before Friday's game against the Seattle Mariners.
"We really don't have a timetable. It's going to be entirely based on how he's doing," Francona said.
