Shigeyuki Furuki hit a tiebreaking homer in the seventh inning Wednesday, leading the Yomiuri Giants to a 2-1 victory over the Seibu Lions in interleague play.
Michihiro Ogasawara hit a tying homer to the stands in left-center to lead off the sixth and Furuki led off the seventh with a drive to right, both off right-hander Hideaki Wakui (7-3) at Tokyo Dome.
Giants starter Dicky Gonzalez labored through six innings of one-run ball, allowing seven hits, striking out three and walking three.
