Michihiro Ogasawara hit a go-ahead three-run homer and Lee Seung Yeop hit his second home run of the night in a six-run eighth inning as the Yomiuri Giants rallied to beat the Yokohama BayStars 7-3 on Thursday.

Seiichi Uchikawa and Dan Johnson hit solo blasts in the fourth and fifth, respectively, before a RBI infield single by Yuki Yoshimura gave Yokohama a 3-0 lead in the top of the seventh.

Lee answered with a solo drive to pull the Central League leaders within two in the bottom half at Tokyo Dome.

Ogasawara's three-run shot to right put the Giants ahead 4-3 in the eighth.

Lee added a two-run shot and Shinnosuke Abe followed with a long ball of his own, off reliever Shun Yamaguchi (2-1).

At Tokyo's Jingu Stadium, Jamie D'Antona and Aaron Guiel had back-to-back doubles to break a 1-1 tie in the sixth inning as Yakult prevailed in a close contest against Hanshin to win its third in a row.

Masanori Ishikawa (4-1) allowed a solo homer by Kodai Sakurai in the second inning and scattered four other hits in 7 1/3 innings. Lim Chang Yong picked up his ninth save. Yusutomo Kubo (0-2) took the loss.

At Nagoya Dome, pinch hitter Kazuyoshi Tatsunami singled in the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as Chunichi beat Hiroshima to pick up its fourth win in five games.

With two outs and runners on second and third, Tatsunami hit a 2-1 pitch from Tomohiro Umetsu (2-1) to deep center field, an inning after teammate Masahiko Morino delivered a tying double.
