APELDOORN, Netherlands (Kyodo) Midfielder Keisuke Honda hinted Friday that he is looking for a move away from VVV Venlo.
"I've wanted to make a transfer since before the season started, without any trouble between me and the team. The chance is now right in front of me," Honda said after Friday's 2-1 loss away to AGOVV Apeldoorn.
"I don't know how transfer talks are progressing. I want to take some time before I make a decision," added the 22-year-old, who did not say which team or teams his agent is in talks with.
Honda has scored 16 goals this season to help Venlo secure the second-division and promotion back to the top flight in the Netherlands.
