Point guard Nile Murry had an outstanding all-around weekend for the Osaka Evessa, helping the bj-league's original dynasty earn a weekend sweep over the Shiga Lakestars. Murry is the Circle K Sunkus Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Murry, who began his college career at Temple University before transferring to TCU, had 20 points, seven rebounds, five assists and five steals in a 15-point win on Saturday. He had 32 points, including 10-for-12 at the charity stripe, eight assists and three steals in the series finale.
He is eighth in the league in scoring (19.6 points per game), third in assists (5.3) and tied for third in steals (2.2).
