David Young scored 20 points and J.R. Sakuragi added 17 to lead the Aisin Sea Horses to a 79-59 championship-clinching victory over the Hitachi Sunrockers in Game 4 of the Japan Basketball League Finals on Wednesday at Yoyogi Gymnasium Annex.
The Sea Horses, who defended their title, led 31-17 after one quarter and held a 13-point advantage at the half.
Aisin forward Kosuke Takeuchi had 15 points, nine boards and two blocks, while Shinsuke Kashiwagi added 14 points, four assists and two steals. Sakuragi contributed 12 rebounds, four assists and two blocks.
Hitachi shot 4-for-20 from 3-point range in the loss.
Forward/center Lamar Rice had 20 points for the Sunrockers. Teammate Joji Takeuchi, Kosuke's twin brother, added 15 points, 12 boards and six blocks and Taiji Sakai scored 11.
