Challenger Takahiro Aoh defeated champion Oscar Larios by unanimous decision Thursday to capture the WBC featherweight title.
The 24-year-old Aoh dominated the early rounds at Korakuen Hall, knocking Larios to the canvas in the fourth, and then hung on as the 32-year-old Mexican fought his way back into the contest in later rounds.
The bout was a rematch of a fight last October when Larios retained the title in a split decision over Aoh.
