With power forward Lynn Washington leading the way, the Osaka Evessa earned a two-game sweep over the Toyama Grouses last weekend.
Washington, a two-time bj-league MVP, is the Circle K Sunkus Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
The 200-cm veteran had 24 points and 10 assists on Saturday, and had a 36-point, 11-rebound, seven-assist, three-block effort in the series finale. A former Indiana University player, Washington is the league's third-leading scorer (24.9 points per game) and is fifth in rebounds (12.4).
