Saitama Broncos power forward Reggie Warren joined the 40-point club on Saturday, becoming only the sixth player in the bj-league to do so in a single game this season. He helped his team earn a series split against the Tokyo Apache a day later.
Warren is the Circle K Sunkus Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday, two days after his 32-point, 11-rebound, four-block effort provided pivotal support for the hosts in a nine-point victory. He had 42 points, 10 boards and four assists in the series opener.
Takamatsu Five Arrows forward Matt Garrison earned the league's February MVP accolade. He averaged 21.4 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists during the month.
