Former Boston Bruins forward Joel Prpic set up the winning goal as Seibu Prince Rabbits rallied to defeat the Nippon Paper Cranes 6-5 in Sunday's final of the Japan ice hockey championship and the team's last appearance.

Sunday's win was the 11th national title and second straight for Seibu whose owners announced in December they were pulling sponsorship of the team amid Japan's recession.

"The players played tough to the end," Seibu coach Chris Wakabayashi said. "We're not sure if we'll be staying together as a team so it was an emotional win."
