Tokyo Apache shooting guard Masashi Joho gave his team a big boost last weekend in a sweep over the Saitama Broncos. And he is the Circle K Sunkus Player of the Week, the bj-league announced Tuesday.
Joho sank three free throws with 2 seconds left in the fourth quarter on Saturday to force overtime. He finished the game with 22 points. A day later, Joho scored 13 of his 21 points in the first quarter to set the tone for the Apache, who are 18-8 at the All-Streak break.
