LONDON (AP) Portsmouth overcame its poor English Premier League form to win a replayed third-round F.A. Cup match 2-0 at Bristol City on Tuesday.
England striker Peter Crouch scored in the 38th minute at Ashton Gate and Niko Kranjcar added a second goal with two minutes left for the defending champion, which had only won a meaningless UEFA Cup match in its last eight games.
West Bromwich Albion won 2-0 at Peterborough in another of Tuesday's five replays.
