KAVALA, Greece (Kyodo) Journeyman striker Kenji Fukuda marked his comeback from injury by scoring the winner in Ionikos' 1-0 victory away to Kavala in the Greek second division on Sunday.

Making his return after damaging ligaments in his left knee against PAS Giannina in October, substitute Fukuda snatched the points for the visitors when he swept home a left-wing cross for his fourth goal of the season in second-half injury time.

"I want to repay the team by continuing to score goals," said the 31-year-old Fukuda, who joined Ionikos last August after playing in the Spanish second tier with Castellon, Numancia and most recently Las Palmas.
