Urawa Reds manager Gert Engels is confident his players can rediscover their appetite for success for Wednesday night's crunch meeting with Gamba Osaka in the second leg of their Asian Champions League semifinal.

Urawa has suffered an alarming dip in form in the J. League and its title hopes took a hammer blow after a 1-0 defeat at home to Vissel Kobe last weekend saw the Reds fall six points behind leader Kashima Antlers with just five games left to play.

Engels blasted his players for underperforming against Vissel and has to lift them for one of their biggest games of the season at Saitama Stadium 2002, where the teams kick off all square following a 1-1 draw at Expo Stadium in the first leg.
