The Hiroshima Carp broke a tie on Daisuke Ochi's wild pitch with one out and the bases loaded in the seventh inning en route to beating the Yomiuri Giants 5-4 on Thursday, snapping a four game winless streak and ending the Giants' 13-game unbeaten streak.

With the win, Hiroshima regained a share of third with the idle Chunichi Dragons.

Yomiuri ended its longest undefeated streak since winning 13 in a row in 1976 and slipped into second.
