Hakuho posted a bread-and-butter win over Miyabiyama while Mongolian yokozuna rival Asashoryu also made it back-to-back victories on the second day of the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament on Monday.

Hakuho, who won the Nagoya meet in July with a flawless 15-0 record and is seeking his eighth overall title here, had little trouble in dealing with bumbling Miyabiyama in the day's penultimate bout at Ryogoku Kokugikan.

Miyabiyama (0-2) failed to take his chances and Hakuho bided his time before yanking the top-ranked maegashira around and comfortably sending him out from behind for the win.
