Pinch hitter Yosuke Takasu lined a go-ahead two-run single with two outs in the eighth inning Sunday as the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles rallied to beat the Pacific League-leading Seibu Lions 5-4.

Teppei Tsuchiya and Daisuke Kusano both singled and moved to second and third on a Masato Nakamura groundout, setting up Takasu's base hit to right off reliever Chikara Onodera (5-5) at Kleenex Stadium.

Takeshi Yamasaki hit a solo homer, Naoto Watanabe had an RBI single and Motohiro Shima laid down a squeeze bunt in the second inning, giving Rakuten a 3-1 lead before Seibu's comeback.
