Motonobu Tanishige hit a tiebreaking two-run single in the sixth inning and the Chunichi Dragons bats erupted in an 11-4 romp of the Yomiuri Giants to win their fifth game in a row on Wednesday.
Chunichi took a 3-1 lead in the first and Tyrone Woods hit a solo homer in the third before Yomiuri tied the game by the fifth at Nagoya Dome.
Tanishige singled off Daisuke Ochi (3-3) with one out and runners at second and third in the sixth.
