Disgraced boxer Daiki Kameda is expected to return to the ring on Nov. 6 against a to-be-announced foe at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, according to published reports.
In October 2007, Kameda shocked Japanese boxing fans with his dirty tactics against WBC flyweight champion Daisuke Naito in a one-sided defeat.
The Japan Boxing Commission subsequently handed Kameda a one-year suspension following the fight. His older brother, Koki, and trainer and father, Shiro, were disciplined by the JBC as well, with the elder Kameda losing his boxing license.
