Craig Brazell sparked a five-run fourth inning with an RBI single and Kazuhisa Ishii threw seven shutout innings, leading the Seibu Lions to a 12-3 rout of the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks on Tuesday.
Brazell added a solo homer in the fifth and Seibu also got a two-run homer from Taketoshi Goto and a bases-loaded triple from Takumi Kuriyama in the next two innings in Pacific League action at Seibu Dome.
Ishii (9-7) held Softbank to four hits while striking out eight and walking none. D.J. Houlton (4-4) was charged with five runs in 3 2/3 innings.
