Tomoaki Kanemoto hit a tiebreaking three-run homer in the top of the 10th inning as the Hanshin Tigers beat the Yomiuri Giants 4-2 to snap a season-worst five-game losing streak on Wednesday.
Kanemoto homered to right field off Soichi Fujita after Marc Kroon (1-3) walked the first two batters of the inning at Tokyo Dome.
Scott Atchison (6-4) threw two scoreless innings in relief. Jeff Williams yielded a solo homer to Tomohiro Nioka in the bottom of the 10th but held on for his second save.

At Yokohama Stadium, Toshihisa Nishi homered twice and drove in five runs as the BayStars outslugged Yakult.
Daisuke Miura (5-6) won his third straight start after allowing there runs in eight innings. Kyohei Muranaka (6-10) was charged with four runs in four innings.

At Sendai's Kleenex Stadium, Rick Short went 3-for-5 with a homer and four RBIs as Tohoku Rakuten ended Seibu's winning streak at four games.
Rakuten built an 8-2 lead through four innings and overcame four home runs by Seibu. Takeya Nakamura hit his Pacific League-leading 29th home run and Taketoshi Goto went deep twice.
