Michihiro Ogasawara and Alex Ramirez homered as the Yomiuri Giants sent the Hanshin Tigers to their season-worst fifth straight loss with a 7-0 rout at Tokyo Dome on Tuesday.

Ogasawara hit a two-run homer in the first inning and Yomiuri added five runs in the seventh on a two-run double by Takuya Kimura and Ramirez's three-run drive.

Seth Greisinger (12-6) became the first 12-game winner in the Central League this season after scattering six hits over 6 2/3 innings. Yuya Ando (10-6) took the loss.

Dragons 5, Carp 4

At Hiroshima Stadium, Lee Byung Kyu homered twice to help Masahiro Yamamoto earn his 201st career win as Chunichi edged Hiroshima.

Lee opened the scoring with a three-run shot in the third inning and broke a 4-4 tie with a shot off Ryuji Yokoyama (5-1) with two outs in the top of the ninth.

Yamamoto (8-3) won his fifth straight start after allowing four runs in eight innings. Akifumi Takahashi picked up his first career save.

Swallows 3, BayStars 2 (10)

At Sagamihara Stadium, a wild pitch by Yokohama closer Hayato Terahara allowed Yakult to score a go-ahead run in the top of the 10th inning.

The Swallows' Kazuki Fukuchi led off the game with a homer in a two-run first inning but the BayStars rallied to tie it following an eighth-inning homer by Ryoji Aikawa.

Lions 8, Fighters 4

At Seibu Dome, pinch-hitter Akira Eto hit a tiebreaking three-run homer to highlight a six-run eighth inning as Seibu rallied from a 4-2 deficit to beat Hokkaido Nippon Ham.

Seibu won its fourth consecutive game and extend its Pacific League lead to seven games over the Fighters.
