The J. League issued Oita Trinita and its Olympic team goalkeeper Shusaku Nishikawa a warning on Wednesday after Nishikawa wrote in his personal blog that he intentionally got himself booked in Sunday's 2-1 win over Jubilo Iwata.

The 22-year-old wrote he "got booked on purpose," because he would be able to serve the subsequent one-match suspension while he is on national team duty with Japan's Under-23s at next month's Beijing Games.

"I didn't really deliberately try to get booked, it was just me writing carelessly," said Nishikawa. "I have done soccer lovers a disservice. I apologize."

Oita club president Hiroshi Mizohata has temporarily taken down Nishikawa's blog and ordered him to do community service as punishment.
